The starting point.
Steady Builders is a North County San Diego general contractor that had run almost entirely on word-of-mouth referral for roughly 25 years. The work was strong and the reputation was real. The digital presence was not: at kickoff there was effectively zero SEO and zero AI visibility. Ask an AI assistant for a contractor in their area and the company did not come up at all.
That is a good business with an invisible front door. Our job was to build the door.
What we built.
This was one engagement, not a creative project and a media project stapled together. The creative and the performance work are the same thing.
- Brand and strategy. A brand guide and a marketing strategy to anchor everything that followed.
- Creative and commercial video. We developed the creative direction and produced commercial video with the owner on camera - the face of the business, on the record.
- Rebuilt for search and AI. A new web presence built for both search and AI visibility: GeneralContractor JSON-LD, FAQ schema, and location pages, so the engines can read exactly what the company does and where it does it.
- Paid with real measurement. Google Ads and Meta campaigns launched with full conversion tracking, including offline qualified-lead import - so paid spend is measured against closed, qualified business rather than form fills.
Where we describe the work involved in a project, we guide the owner through it; the building stays theirs.
What happened.
Within the first two months of advertising, Steady Builders generated over $1 million in attributed revenue in proposal stage - from a business that had operated on word-of-mouth referral only for roughly 25 years. That figure is attributed revenue at proposal stage, not booked revenue, and it moved that fast from a standing start.
On the visibility side, the company went from a zero baseline to being detailed in ChatGPT responses within approximately two months of the rebuilt site going live.
A great business was already there. We built the brand, the creative, and the growth engine so the people looking for it could finally find it - and measured every dollar against real, qualified work.
