June is supposed to be a down month in plumbing. We turned it into a 33% year-over-year gain.
Drain Mob is a family-owned San Diego drain and plumbing company. Plumbing has a seasonal shape, and June is soft: the prior year, revenue fell high single digits from May to June. This year that reversed - revenue rose high single digits from May to June, in the month the business normally contracts.
What we built.
- Search and AI foundation. LocalBusiness, Service, and FAQPage schema; title and meta rewrites; an author and E-E-A-T build; and Core Web Vitals cleanup.
- Paid, restructured. We moved Google Ads out of Performance Max into a manual Search build with intent-specific ad groups, and fixed demographic overspend on Meta.
- Lifecycle automation. An eight-automation lifecycle system in ServiceTitan Marketing Pro covering post-job review capture, reactivation, and referral.
What happened.
- Year-over-year revenue up 33% in June and 11% in May.
- June reversed its usual decline - down high single digits May to June the prior year, up high single digits May to June this year.
- Surfacing consistently across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude following the schema rebuild.
The growth is real, but the tell is the timing: we posted the biggest year-over-year gain in the exact month the trade expects to lose ground.
